In November 2016 I posted a blog relating to a Mr. William Parker (1783 - 1837) a Sheffield Merchant who was one of the first interments in Sheffield's General Cemetery
I have just come across this cutting from the Sheffield Daily Telegraph dated 24th June 1980 that throws just a bit more light on the life of William Parker
